Went and Return of the King today

Yeah so today I left school early to go see " Lord of the Rings, the return of the king". Let me just say not many movie series can accomplish sequels that are better then their previous ones.

Lord of the Rings is one of the very few series that has done that. The 1st one was good, the 2nd great, the 3rd one is just flat out awesome. I highly recommend you go see it. That is if you have 201 mins of spare time on your hands :)

Kewl!! Gibby and I are gonna see it tonight. We're really looking forward to it! Other than this one, I don't think I've ever seen a sequel that was better than the original movie. Good to know the third one is even better.

        Holy Cow Batman!!

This movie is by far the best movie out there hands down. Just got back from seeing it and I'm in awe at what they were able to do in this movie. If you don't feel like your there than you have no feelings, this movie should get every award possible unless the critics were paid to vote something else. This is truly a MUST see movie, its actually worth the time and money to see it. WOW!!!
        GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

I was gonna go see it tonight, but it's 3.5 hours long!! Yeah right. I couldn't stay awake during the second movie. My date couldn't either. We hated it. I highly doubt I could stay awake for 3.5 hours.

Is there an intermission? If there isn't, then I'm just gonna wait for it to come out on dvd.

Excellent movie ... I am a true fan of the books and was originally disappointed that the Shire wasnt going to be in the movie like the book ...

However after having seen the movie I do feel that including it would have only been good for fans of the book and not for people that have only seen the movies ...

I must say though ... never in a movie have I really felt a sense of proportion like I did with the scenes of Gondor. Jackson and he digital effects team did a great job of getting you to feel the senses of height, distance, everything. You really could feel the presence of the creatures on the battlefield ... very nicely done.

                  Saw it last night.

LOVED it. ALL of it. Loved Fellowship of the Ring, REALLY loved Two Towers, and Return of the King still blew the other two away .

That, and my date had an awesome time as well, so that made my night even better .

I bought my tickets for the trilogy back in October and they sold out within 40mins of going on sale.

My brothers boss was supposed to get us all tickets for all three movies, but he forgot

So I took the day off work and watched both extended DVDs at home :)

I thought it was great ... didnt seem like 12 hours at all. Everyone got VIP passes, which pretty much only allowed you to come and go from the theater at will. That was nice since you could go get food and then come back. They also handed out little collectable frames where each one had a different frame of film from each of the three movies ... I thought that was kind of cool.

Overall it was a great afternoon, evening, night ... one of the best audiences I have ever sat in.
