How do you get candle wax out of clothes?

A lit candle just spilled all over a pair of new pants that I just got (dickies) and a pair of sweatpants of my moms. Are there any effective ways of removing it? It looks pretty stained.

a friend and myself spent one drunk night pouring candle wax all over our hands. somehow, much to everyone's surprise, some of it got on our clothes. what didn't peal off washed out in the washing machine.

12.99 at wal mart. They were a christmas present so I can't throw them away.

                I wasn't baked...at the time.

I just washed the dickies and it came out, but I think the sweatpants are mondo stained.

Bah, it was my uncle who 'spilled' it in the first place.

get the area a little wet and then get a peice of paper bag and put it on top of the wax and set a hot iron on it. it works on carpet so it will prolly work on ur pants. my dads a carpet cleaner and thats how he does it.
