Just wondering if AGD is planning on coming to any of the events out this way meaning.(West of the Rockies) Just curious.

EDIT: Wonder if Ditto's will be at the Cali events?

DATES: Huntington Beach NPPL March 19-21 & PSP LA Open Mar 3-7

Isnt LA now the only 1 out there? Now that Vegas was moved for both nppl and psp. But never know cause psp is still looking for a 4th location according to their site.

Didn't realize they weren't going to Vegas. Well that kinda limits the West Coast tournies now doesn't it.

PSP is looking into either Denver (1st choice) or Portland (2nd) for the 4th event. Apparently, Philly is too expensive?

EDIT: They moved Vegas because the city of Las Vegas wouldn't allow them to play on their limited amount of grassy areas... Check out www.pspevents.com for details.

Don't count on seeing AGD at any national (maybe Chicago, because there is no travel time)tourneys.. Rumor has it they gave up on us "ballers" and went after the scenario players.. (thier marker is better suited there.. IMHO)

I did not expect much support from AGD after last season anyway.

They can't compete, so they took thier ball and went home.

          Pretty weak in my eyes

If you want support buy a marker from someone that will be there every tourney.. Like anyone other than AGD, tipmann, or kingman

They're cutting back on competing in a limited, mature, and heavily fragmented market to focus on an emerging growth market?

            Weak, indeed.

I dont play in, nor do I ever want to play in, those markets

Thus is why I am negative in this regard. I was screwed at an event that they said they were going to be at... PSP chicago 2003..

All in all, good gun, crappy implimentation and support of it. (e/xmag)

I may not be too qualified to speak on this since the only big tourney I have attended is last year's NJ super 7, but I was kinda looking forward to visiting some of the vendors tents to see what this was all about (I was just becoming interested in playing and getting set up with equipment). At the WDP tent, there were a bunch of girls with no butts selling t-shirts and handing out stickers, but no one showing me a gun or telling my how it worked, etc. I saw a nice demonstration and knowledgable people at the Qloader tent (nothing I wanted to buy, though). I saw a good amount of JT goods that were easy to browse and buy. I saw a Dye tent with a clueless bimbo in it, and not much in the way of product. I saw an empty PSI booth. I was kinda left with the feeling that it was a small time - come as you can afford - operation.

Maybe I did not go to the right places, but what is this support of which you speak? Are companies expected to show at every event to fix people's stuff and all? I'm really not trying to be inflammatory, but I had the impression that most of these companies were 5 - 30 man operations (well, except the obvious) - and couldn't afford to send out half their staff for a week kissing butts and making nice.

At the Chicago event last year (the only PSP event I have played so far) there were techs for WDP, WGP, Bob Long, and other companys like oddesy, JT, crossfire, Air America and NPS that all offered support I dont think dye was doing any servicing, but they had a ton of product to buy (cheap too)

My teammates angel had an LPR problem.. WDP replaced it while we were playing and got it back in 2 games. It was not free, but dont matter.. They were there and FIXED the marker. Another teammate had his cocker e-bladed with eyes there and picked it up the day of the tourney.

I am a whiner, so what.. I expect a decent amount of service from a company that I gave something around $1,000 for a product. If it was not for the rain and that one jag at the shocktech field I would not have had issues. Just so you know, I was the biggest fan of AGD until that day. My team was 80% mag then.. now it is only 20% and the remaining 2 are going away from the "primary" status they they had.
