    barrel length making difference?

hey, a few days ago, this guy has been telling me that a 12" will be more accurate than say something like 14 or 16. I know that accuracy comes from paint to barrel match and the consistancy of the gas source but he said a couple top pros told him, i think he said it was Rab and some other guys. Are they really noticing a difference with a 12" or are they being paid to advertise for a certain brand of barrel? >caugh< DYE >caugh<

bah! What does efficancy have to do with any of this?! Plus i've read all of them when Tom first posted them on the fourms. I'm just saying why are some Pros saying 12" are more accurate? Possibly they are more used to a 12 so they can't play as well with anything longer?

Personally - I like a 12" - 10" barrel. Tom, Palmer, and Colin of Lapco all keep thier barrels in that range. Hmmm - wonder why?

Also- all those two piece barrels the second half generally doesent even touch the ball so you really have a 6" or 8" barrel...
