Tips on 3-man tournements! Position mainly?

I have a team that in about a month is going to be in a 3-man rookie tournement on a hyperball field! I was wondering if I could get any tips from any of you that play on 3-man teams. Our to best and fastest players have a Alien Abudction angel and me with my Rt Pro, and our other player who isnt quiet as fast has an impulse! Where do you think the best place for us on a breakout would be ( I know it's hard to say knowing you havent even seen our field. We have for our main bunkers a huge rocket in the middle 50 with snakes on both sides, a steam roller to the left of the rocket, a door and a window to the right.

Very hard to answer. 3 man games are very fast, the positions you take depends really on the field. usally these field are small, so you can have 2 backup and 1 front. Your moves will depend on the field, you have to know which are or is the key bunker, the one not to go to and see all angles from all bunkers. Can you make it to the 50 on the break or in 2 or 3 moves, you gotta know all this. If one of you has a lot of speed and control his snap shooting, let him go front. And the back guys have to communicate a lot, if your front get shot you have to know who is going for the flag next. Oh man there is so much to say about it, but most of all, just enjoy the game and have fun.

      take advantage

Take advantage of your speed and the 50 bases. You need to stat spread and dont be heavy on one side. I just played a 3-man sunday and we won it. I am the only fast guy on the team so i had to great back players backing me up. If your comfortable with one back player than have him play center and you to take tape and hit the snake or one in snake one in rocket. Be agressive dont play to defensive b/c they will advance and get good angles b4 you. If it's a small field make sure you can see everything from your base if not make sure your back player knows this so he's not taking it from all 3 guys and you cant help him. Keep up the intensity and dont be worried to make a killer run down a tape or 1for1 if necessary. Just my advice!!!

I know that on break. I would walk to the first back bunker while hammering on my angel to get someone on break. I am 6'2, 240lbs. I can't make it as far as basically everyone on my team. It all also depends on how fast you are too.

Off the break have two guys lay paint in the open lanes. One can stay in the center while the other two go for the tape. The one that goes for the tape that isn't shooting should just get into the most secure bunker as far up field as possible. Basically play one front, one mid and one back. Your back needs to call out the positions of the other team and hold down as much of the field as possible. The back player should control the tape that the mid is on so he can focus on keeping down the opposite side of the field and protecting the front man. The front man needs to start playing aggressive once one of their guys goes down or start finding spots to get to that have an angle on any of the opposing players positions. Just practice and play the positions you feel the most comfortable in.
