Preset 850 PSI Input Pressure. Ok or Not?

I just bought a new PMI carbon fiber tank (NITRO) and the sales rep swore it was preset at 850 PSI. I have never gone over 800 PSI and I am wondering if a higer pressure will cause any problems. What do most of you guys run your setup at? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Do you have a AIR valve or a Retro valve?

850psi will work fine for either one but you will have a fairly strong kick-back with that pressure going into a Retro valve. Personaly I like the amount of kick-back I get with 850psi input.

if you have an RT you will not be able to mess with you trigger reacting, but it should be fairly reactive at 850 I run at 825 and it is perfict so a second stage reg that will cost 80 dollars is not worth 25 psi

I have a flatline connected to a retrovalve at 850 psi. Works great, trigger returns with good amount of force, but does not run away or fire unintentially. I see no problem with a preset 850 psi tank.

Most tanks are preset at 85. 850 is fine for a mag, due to the automag having a built in reg. This means the input pressure doesn't matter much, as long as it is about 600 or so. I belive it is supposed to take up to 3000 psi input, but I wouldn't try that :)
