I will be attending this game also, but have yet to pick a side to play on. I am leaning towards playing for the North as of now and will do so unless we can set up something where we all can play together. My team wont be making it to the game, but I will be there.

I just wanted to drop in here and post a quick hello and also invite you out to participate in this event. It is for a great cause! I will be leading the North as we strive to repel and stomp the southern uprisin. Who's side will Tom Kaye be on? Also, when the game was first announced, there was also a statement that the first X number of sign-ups would be guaranteed a spot on his team, but the site/web page was screwed up for a long while and then it came up with no further announcement here. Is it to late to choose to specifically play on AGD's side?

Tom emailed me that he wont be leading a side in this game. He is going to be there as the MC of the game. So any AOers that want to form up, please let me know, then we can form up our own brigade at the game.

I have been playing paintball for more than 8 years, but my friend has only played twice, so I hope this goes well for him. Plus, this is the first scenario game for both of us. BlackCat Paintball Productions, Millennium Paintball Productions, and the Prince William Boys’ and Girls’ Club regret to inform you that the upcoming event, “The Battle of the Potomac” must be postponed. The circumstances under which this decision was made involved last minute insurance constraints that arose and could not be resolved, especially in light of the most recent and tragic events in paintball. We do apologize for the inconvenience; this has inconvenienced and cost us all. However, the safety and well-being of our players and sport far outweigh the inconveniences and cost to our organizations and individuals. It is not an easy decision that we faced yesterday. We were well aware of the ramifications of our actions and the cost to all involved if this game was postponed. However, our love for the sport and the players is far greater. We are professionals and as professionals we must look beyond the short term needs and affects and would NEVER jeopardize our players’ safety and well-being.


We are currently reviewing our calendars to find a suitable date to reschedule this event. At this time, we are looking at early November; we will have a solid date within the next few days.


BlackCat Paintball Productions will be more than happy to assist in the following manner:


We have two, 24 hour events scheduled in May. One is in Strasburg, VA at Skyline Paintball, near Winchester, VA, on May 15-16, 2004, entitled, “Contagion”. The second event is in Freedom, PA, near Pittsburgh at Three Rivers Paintball on May 29-30, 2004, entitled, “March on Moscow”. If you wish to transfer your registration to either of these two events we will consider you pre-registered for the event and include a $35 paint credit coupon in your player packet. Millennium Paintball Productions will be more than happy to assist in the following manner:

We know that these options are not going to retrieve you your airfare and all your costs incurred, but we are willing to do what we can to assist in offsetting some of the costs at OUR expense.

Ooh Ooh Me too. I dunno what desitinctive features to look for but my buddy and I will be there. I have a very loud(boss 5.0 kind of loud) green jeep grand cherokee with two Pevs stickers on the tailgate. We'll be in camo but that doesnt help you eh? ;)
