Ideas on how to raise the V/F on a Micromag?

The vertical feed on my Micromag 2000 is too low. I can't put a revvy on my gun because the site is in the way. I need to raise the feed at least 1/2". The problem with the Micromag is that the vertical feed is pressed into the body and can't be adjusted.

I saw these on g3pb.com:



These are Adrenalin Angel high rise feed adapter. Would anybody know how to mount these onto the Micromag body? Any ideas are welcome. Thank you.

Just guessing here, but maybe remove the stock adapter and drill and tap the body (if there's enough metal) for the new ones?
