    can i polish the body myself, i have a grey body and i want a chrome one, is it possible what will take of the powder coat?

      the thing is the grey doesn't match anything on my gun and i spent too much this summer on paintball stuff, a little over 1,5k, i should've got a emag. but i'm looking for the cheapest possible way to get the body chrome

        how could you spend 1.5k on a regular mag and not have an emag when your done?

          Cha0tic I have more like 1.5k when I get into my main mag(including air system) and my backup has like 600 tied up in it. He spent a little over 1.5 k on paintball "stuff" meaning field fee's and paint or so I assume. Otherwise I hope his mag looks a little like mine.


          Taking mags apart is fun, its even more fun when you don't know what you're doing

            Man you can easily spend 1.5k on your mag and air and masks and stuff. I know I can :).

                I took some 400 grit sandpaper and started to wet sand my grey body, then used 600 grit, then 1000 grit. Then I used a little polishing compound to finish. Then I put some wheel sealer on it to keep fingerprints off. Remember the mag body is stainless steel, mine doesn't "shine like chrome" but it looks sooo much better. I was pleased with the results. Hope this helps.:)
