Anyone interested in making pump rods for the pump kits?

I was just wondering if anyone(who knows what they are doing) could/would make a pump rod for a pump kit and sell them, or just one for me, just name a price for it if you could do it for me..

I have plans on making them. I have two problems right now. First being I am moving and my bench still is not in the new house. Second, I am having problems finding stainless rods. I have a line on a place that said they have them. I just need to stop by and pick some up. I hope to work on them this weekend.

Keep in mind your rail needs to have the pump rod slot milled into it inorder to make the pump kit work.

Nope...need the groove...and it's not something that you can just cut with a dremel:)

lol, buy an dremel and wing it. as Rob says in his signature, "just because you own a dremel, it doesn't make you an airsmith."

is stainless steel the only thing tough enough to handle the pumping? could aluminum work?

Aluminum would bend...I bent my first one out of a coat hanger and after hammering on it for awhile the tip bent. I figure stainless seems to be the way to go.

well, a hanger is kina slim. i would use a thicker rod. it would be cheaper and easier to work with.

It can't be too think. It has to fit in the groove in the rail and you can't cut the groove too large. The hanger is about the right Diameter, just too soft of a metal.
