AO's "Gun of the Month" - May thread.

    Rules:
    1. You must own the gun to enter it.

    2. Maximum width is 600 and maximum height is 450 (You can link your pictures like this though
    PHP Code:
    <a href="LinkToImageHere"><img src="LinkToImageHere" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

This will make it so that your picture will only be 600x450 but if someone clicks on it, it will bring up the full sized picture.

    3. Maximum of 3 pictures per entry please, we don't want to suck up all the bandwidth

    4. Lets try to keep chatter to a minimum. It's not that big of a deal if there are text posts, but it would be better if you used PM's to make comments like "nice gun."

    5. Maximum of 3 guns may be entered at one time per person.

    6. If you win you may not enter any gun again for 4 months, and you may never enter your winning gun again for a full year.

    Judges:
    1. Glickman
    2. coolcatpete
    3. The Frymarker
    4. TraXeR
    5. 68magOwner
    6. Gideon1331

    Sponsers:

    2. Jayloo
    3. Gideon
    4. darwin
    5. e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject entitled sponser if you would like to be a sponser.

    Prizes:
    Forsures:
3 month web hosting, compliments of darwin.
    A poster compliments of Gideon

Note: Judges may not enter their markers. Every month new judges may be added, but only if the current ones want to drop out. They have first say whether they want to give someone else a chance to judge or whether they want to continue to judge. I'm thinking of a maximum of 7-10 judges per month, so PM me if you want to get your spot as a judge.

If you need a place to host your pic's go to our very own http://www.jayloo.com !

I don't really know if you have to end it.. It might cause problems if you try to post multiple pictures though.. I don't know, i've never tested it.

                        Suggestion

Pics are fun and all, but let's have a requirement of the selected winner. If you're picked as the winner, you should then write a short blurb about the gun. Like, special things in it/about it, maybe any interesting history behind the gun, etc.

The written content will then be forwarded on to a secondary panel of judges, who will score it based on spelling, grammar, and content, and then determine the prize (or sentencing?) accordingly.

                        Just kidding.

                        About the last part.
                        "Accuracy by aiming."

                        Definitely not on the A-Team.

I think there should be some sort of stipulation requiring that a contestants marker needs to more than stock (ie: individualised...) DM4s, timmies, shockers, and the like are very common guns today... Sure it may be badass, but half the people who play paintball have one just like it.

So no out-of-the-box markers, unless they're from Punishers Customs, Whitewolf, Tunaman, Doc Nickel, etc...
