Re-Deem me I thought EVIL thoughts torwards my MAG today!!

OK, 3 vs 4 at tiny speedball field, me on team of 3.
Our plan, start off charging and don't stop.
We charge, firing as we went.
I get to first bunker, put 5 shots into player, bunker next player as well.
Get shot in back by 1st person I bunkered.
Apparently my gun was only shooting air.
after the game, hopper, elbow, and all pballs were just drenched in paint. Pretty much I "air" painted 2 ppl instead of shooting them...
I WAS PISSED ---at my Mag...sorry...



Now, I just need to solve the problem so it never happens again.
I've been told I "short stroked" the gun, but I was not firing fast at all.

I think what happened is, as running a ball juggled upwards, gets chopped at bolt and chamber, explodes upwards and everywhere, so much so that even the paint wont roll down cuz so much paint covered hopper\balls\elbow.

If I had a revy would that had happened? DId I short stroke it? Do other guns do that?

if you get revvy there is still a possibility of that happening but not that much of a chance that it will happen.

yeah that happens with all guns. just gotta make sure wehn you go to shoot that you dont pick up your gun too fast, you gotta be smooth. also, when you go over the top of your bunker that will happen if you swing your gun up too fast. you just gotta remember. dont blame the mag, it happens with all guns. hehe

I dunno if it's normal or not for mags, but my barrel (armson stealth) sometimes doesn't go on all the way and I have that problem. Like when you put it in, you have to turn it left so the breach on the barrel matches the feeder hole.

That's an annoying occurance, but i've gotten used to checking it before every game now.

No matter HOW bad you chop you should NEVER get paint inside your hopper. If you did you probably broke a paintball inside the hopper where it coated everything else and clogged the system up. This is rare but happens, especially if your violently swinging the gun around.

i pinched one in my revy today i think. there was a busted ball and a full hopper lightly coated with paint. sucked bad.

i want to know when AGD is going to fix that problem :)

oh yeah and my car makes a rattling noise. fix that too!

what would be the most common ball destructing possibilities, or ball breaking in hopper, etc...

just crappy paint, short stroking, o what?

If a ball broke in your hopper it was probably either you bad paint, brittle paint, or you shook it to hard or something to that affect. Although you don't have to be shooting fast to shortstroke, you shortstroke when you don't pull the trigger all the way. Hope this helps ya, sorry about your "Air Bunkering" problems :). Although my buddy Jared bunkered a guy and chopped, but got him out with the paint that sprayed :)!

well well

I was shooting BIG BALL, through BIG SHOT, it was about 40-50 degrees, and about 3 to 4 hours play. Maybe 20-50 balls in hopper. I also use CO2, but no liquied was in valve.

All I kno is, my hopper, and PF, and elbow was so filled with paint the balls would slowly ooze down...tho actually it looked like a couple of them were broke inside.
Maybe it was from hitting that tree head on...but I cant remmeber if that was before or after the "air" bunkering...
