Powertube Spacers and Trigger Shortening (Lightening)

I've been trying to figure out how to shorten the trigger pull on my mag (Without doing permanent damage!) for a while and someone told me that I could do it (Without doing permanent damage.) with powertube spacers. If this is true, how does it mechanically make the trigger pull(A little learning never hurts.)lighter?

SPACERS!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY

Look at your current spacer, take it out, find a longer spacer.
Put that in, let it settle, gas gun up.
Trigger pull SHOULD be lighter, or it'll be too long and make gas leak down barrel!
