Input Voltage for a Warp Feed

Ok, ladies and gentlemen. I know that the maximum recommended voltage for the warp feed is 12v. What is the best way to accomplish a 12v input with two 9v batteries? I heard that some of you guys also have a 2x9v harness in parallel, which I believe will allow for twicw the battery life. I would like to know the parts that I would need to buy for the best setup for both a series(regulated 12v) harness and a parallel harness. All help is appreciated in advance.

Check this site for the parallel set-up. The battery mod is about half way down the page and it gives the part numbers from Radio Shack at the top.
