What do you guy think about a tippman 98 custom with flatline barrel and run it on n2?

Personally I'm not really big on the 98s but the Flatline is a nice barrel and really does wonders for the marker. Put a nitro system on will really make it a lot more consistant both over the crony and with your range. I believe that it's a good setup. -
I believe that once you have a HPA system that you can buy a low-pressure converter so that the tippman will work at a lower pressure, making your gun quieter and more effiecent.Ciaran

Uhm.. low pressure systems are LESS efficient because they need more volume to make up for the lower pressure.Originally posted by ciaran.mooney

I think that's basicly the perfect setup for woods play. I'd need a smaller gun for speed ball but in the woods a longer gun doesn't matter.
The Tippman is very reliable and while the flatline is a real drag to clean out if you break a ball, I've seen it make some pretty amasing shots. Once again I wouldn't need the distance on the speed ball field but in the woods it's great. I'd been shot out by someone with a flatline that I never thought could possibly hit me.
Personaly I'd put N2 on any gun. IMHO I can't think of a reason not to use it. I ran my Spyder on N2 brfore I got my Mag and would never go back."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."

drop forward on backwards with the tank backwards too helps shorten the gun. thats how i run on gun. but 98s are long any way you cut it. meh. ill stick to my rt.i dont like signatures. so i turned them off. AO is much better this way.Comment

Many guns have LP parts available such as LP Cockers and LP Angels. They are LP with out hte gashogness. Look at hte Matrix, the new bolt mod made it 33% more efficant. Depending on how the LP mod works on the M98, LP dosn't always meen gas hog.Comment
