    Plastic Nubbins- Tons of pictures

Ok, I got my plastic nubbins today and I know there are already some pictures of them on the board. But I have taken a few more to share with you.

        One Nubbin or two?

This begs the question One nubbin or Two? I just searched and have seen where a couple of people have touched on this before but no clear resolution. No I am not looking for a magic accuracy improvement or anything, just curious to see what the "head shed" and everyone else prefers/recommends and why. I figure this will vary with the setup you are running (warp might require two, etc.).

        What does everyone think?

        BTW great pics Potatoe!

AGD puts dual nubbins in their barrels to provide the most protection against double feeding. This isn't possible with L Groove barrels made for both HL and HR so for awhile AGD made the RT barrels with one L groove for the hopper side the gun came in. Now, AGD has a T-groove that works for HL, HR and Vertical Feed and still uses dual nubbins. Aftermarket barrels only use one nubbin because they have to make them to fit both HL and HR. I doubt they'll care enough to start making dual nubbin T-groove barrels. However, BOA will make dual nubbin Mag barrels by request.

I believe Tom's official response to dual nubbins was simply a backup in case one of them broke. I could be wrong though.

                Thanks for posting the pics.....

I seem to have a broken nubbin and didn't know what to call it. Thanks for posting the pics.

I started playing years ago but have been away from the sport.
