Some of the coolest people i've meet are.

Some of the coolest people i've meet in the last say 3 to 4 years are paintballers. This forum and the sport has never ceased to amaze me. Honestly, even the chicks are cooler.

And for some reason tragedy seems a lot worse. I think about my buddy Evan who died of cancer just two months. The guy had the heart to play while being treated. He had the heart to play front with a pump as well. RIP Evan.

    Just saying.

    sorry about your buddy man

and yes people in this sport really have great character compared to the pro stuck up baseball and football player, pros in this sport are really like regular people and dont flaunt their skill in your face unlike some people and yes their is the occasional butthead

thats why i love this sport

      ^^

Like anything, snobs are everywhere, and they are obvious to those that care. That being said, I've met some great guys playing too.

Definately extra lube. I keep two bottles at all times. Can't leave home w/o your lubricant.

I understand where you're coming from.
I played on a team in Vegas a few years back, and i grew close to my buddies on that team. We eventually split up,and joined other teams. I Moved to San Diego, a buddy went to Frenso.
In Febuary Brian was in a car crash, and was killed immediatly. Both drivers in the collision were drunk, and everyone but the driver of the other car died.
December 12th was Brian's birthday, and I called his sister up, and spoke with her for a while.
it isn't easy to lose a friend, and it certainly isn't easy to lose something you've held onto for so long. Before the Wreck, he had recently sold one of his tanks and hoppers. I bought them, and I will never use them again. They sit in my gearbag, in memory of him. I think about him everytime I put up my marker, and everytime i eliminate an opposing player.

            RIP Brian K.

I have met some great people over AO, POG and the paintball internet community in general. I have been floating around the paintball crowd on the internet for about 10 years now and for the most part it is full of good people. There are how ever your idiot, jerks and butt holes. The good part is the stupid ones seem to disapear over time, while the good ones tend to stick around.

There is a group of AOers that tend to go to all the events. These are the greatest group of people you could find in this world.
