Any news on the Halo?

Any news on the new Halo loaders coming out? Also, any info on pricing? Would these be a more inexpensive alternative to buying a warp if the Halo can handle 15 bps? I don't expect to go over 15 bps, although the warp just looks plain cool with all that tucked neatly on the side of the marker. I can be patient and wait for it to come out-I just wanted to know when I might see one so I could check it out...they sound pretty cool, and look sweet.

The halo is definetly a much needed product. Put a just a halo on your gun and you will be a happy person. Pair a halo WITH a warp (which makes you a smaller target getting that blimp off the top of your gun and makes for a very tight package) and you have a match made in heaven. I would not look at it as an alternative to a warp, because you would really want both the warp AND a halo as an optimal setup. National Paintball Supply told me about 3 weeks for the first halo's to hit the stores, with a street price of about $130 or so. Don't quote me though. Hope this helps! :)

Delay in release date...

I just got a response from the eMail I sent OdysseyPaintball, here is his exact response:

You should see it hit dealers shelves early to mid December. I have no idea
what stores will be selling. My suggestion would be to e-mail them and let
them know you're interested. The MSRP is $150, but I imagine you'll be able
to find it for less then that.

hey i just got some info from my local paintball store (Adrenalin Rush) down here in Port Charlote Florida. they were at the world cup and got alot of info on the halo. From what they told me was that Odyssey paintball didn't like the boddy design so they are remaking the bodies. Thats just some info i got from inside thought i would share.

We are going to be getting the Halo's first week in Dec.(We being Paintball Inc. Formaly National Paintball South)It is taking them longer because they are making the bodys from polycarben( I think I spelled that right). It will be 2 1/2
onces over the Rev. It will be feeding 15-17 balls per sec.
The will be a upgrade coming out to make it feed over 20.

just what i hear...

well hate to damper anyones hopes and im sure ill catch hell on this one, but...

i have a contact who is a dealer and has spoken to odyssey several times. they are always postponing the product. promising. one more month, another month.

my rep feels that there have been attempts made to push the product and that preorders are basically to cover startup costs. there were a few protos made, but nothing since. its a hoax. if it were that great and the demand so high, why the wait, bugs or no bugs. has anyone actually used one of these, very curious.
please enlighten me.

... Give me a break guys. This is basically the same thing I hear from everyone. The plain and simple fact is they are waiting on the mold for the shells and a few other parts that were added at the last minute. I've seen one of these, I've shot an E-Mag on 16bps FA with one of these and I've seen one completely disassembled. They do exist and they are going to rock. This is kind of like the E-Mag Xtreme. Last minute changes are postponing the release time. It will come out soon enough.
