burst disk on flatline...can I take it out and put a chain to fill nipp. cover on it?

like the title says, i sent my flatline to AGD to be serviced [i wuv AGD!] and they had taken the little lanyard with the fill nipple cover off for whatever reason, and didn't put it back on. is that for a reason? or just that they didn't have time to put it back on? can i just unscrew the burst disk again and put it on there and screw it back on? is that possible?

I wouldn't put it on the burst disk, I put mine on the fill nipple. Of course drain the tank first.

I'd say leave the burst disk alone, it's a safety feature. take out the fill nipple and put it on there. it's not.
