My warp loves batterys....in a bad way

    it just guzzels them down.....

    i got a warp it has teh 12v mod...and an on.off switch ...well ....

i got it and put in new batterys (cheepo) i cycled it to set it up ...and then more just to look at it work ....well after about a total of 1-2minets it dies.....

so i get some energizer batterys....it prolly worked for 5-10 minets of total cycle time and it died

i took out the 12v mod and now im just using one 9v ..........

how do i fix its battery problem?

Well not really, it was early when I typed that. Me and another guy did some battery life testing and I was getting something like a half hour, intellifed.

You should definately run rechargeables though, check out thompson distributing, I got a maha stealth charger/battery combo and I think it's the best money I ever spent on paintball. You want to start a day with fresh batteries, and the only way to get that with alkalines is to throw away half charged ones.

I'll also add that for most people (anyone with a mechanical mag or cocker), the 12v mod is a waste of time and a source of additional idling battery drain.

            DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Good rechargeables are NOT easy to find and I'm pretty sure you won't find them at radioshack. I know powerex and tysonic are good for sure. I gave you where I got mine.

If it's only lasting a matter of minutes, you probably have a short somewhere. I'd suspect the 12v mod...
