I have the ballad of Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit, I think it was the animated one. Funny to listen to, must have been early 80s. Sounds like Leonard Nimoy singing. Anyway, I really want to see the movie.Early to rise and early to bed may make a man healthy but socially dead.Comment

Haven't heard anything about the Hobbit being made. Supposedly it will be incorporated into the trilogy. Since not much happen in the fellowship, I'm guessing it will have a good deal of the Hobbit included in it.You are the Wormtongue of AO.~bofh

All the filming for all 3 movies is complete. They're working on the CGI for the first film, and once it's released, they'll sit down and edit and CGI the 2nd. It was more cost-effective to shoot it all as one huge project, rather than having to rebuild sets and reschedule the cast.Originally posted by Flamebo

I hate going to see a sequel only to have the main character played by someone else. Its like , "who is this guy". Like in Batman! I think it was a great idea to shoot all 3 and keep the series looking like a series instead of finding another actor that would play the part for less than the original.
