    inline air filter

i took apart the hardline on my RT and found a filter in one of the fittings. i am wondering if this is the cause of velocity problems that i have found.

can anybody tell me is the filer supposed to be this color and mine seems to be made out of a pourus stone is this good or bad.

The picture is a little out of focus for me take make that determination. If you strongly feel that this may be the cause of your problem, change out the filter and try it.

Yes, that's an inline filter that is suppose to be there and it should be copper in color and be porous. As for your velocity problems, unscrew the black valve body on the back and lift up the brass reg. seat holder that is on the pin. Under that is the reg. seat o-ring. Oil it or put in a new one if it's dirty or nicked. That will cure the velocity problem if it's a problem with the valve, otherwise you need to use higher quality paint that fits your barrel better.
