What is the best in-line reg. for the automag?

I am thinking about buying an Air America Violator regulator because on pbstar.com they used the Raptor nitro tank and I take it that the violator is the same reg. on the raptor and when they chronoed the shots they had an average difference of 2.82 fps and I was wondering if there are any better regulators than the violator that run on CO2. PS I know that by using CO2 it will probably decrease the performance of the regulator. THANKS

2 regs that run very well on co2 and keep velocity very consistant are stock cocker regs and palmer stabilizers

IMHO... if you are using CO2 then you are better off just using an expansion chamber.... just remember that your mag valve has a built in reg

For CO2, get either a Palmer Stabilizer or a stock WGP reg. Any other reg will either won't perform as well on CO2, or simply can't be used with CO2. Note that the AA regs are based on the same design as your Mag's AIR reg, so will have the same issues with CO2.
