_-~Counter-Strike~-_ Unable to minimize then maximize?

Alrite. Counter-Strike 1.6

Once I minimize the game, whether in the start menu, or in game. I can minimize it no problem, but when I go to maximize it, it goes to a black screen, but all the sounds are still goin on in the background, I can even still move around, I just can't see what im doing because its a solid black screen.

Any ideas?

I know its not because my computer isnt good enough, any help would be apreciated

For my card? I believe so, because I just bought the card last week... Should i try using omega driverS?

Try setting your ingame resolution as the same as the desktop res.. if it isnt already

it is set the same... well i just installed new drivers i <b>highly</b> doubt it will do anything but hell why not

Some games don't like being minimised/maximised. Half Life is one of them, it's extremely picky. For example, it works fine on my machine, but my friend cannot. I can't imagine why you'd need such functionality.

just because you just bought the card doent mean it has latest drivers. but you said you already updated so..


what resolution are you trying to use?

1280x1024, but my LCD, and my card both easily support this.

do it twice. Mine does this so i just minimize and max it again. its cz though.
