My girly bought a Timmy.

Well, my girlfriend just bought a 2001 Bob Long Intimidator. Blue to white fade. Since I will have the pleasure of storing the marker for a while at my house I just wanted to know if there are any mods I need to make or is there any specific type of maintenance required. Or just any cool stuff I can do to it. I have heard something about putting a -004 o-ring under the bottom board mounting screw. Is that needed? If so where can I find one of these o-rings.

Any and all comments and suggestion are wanted.

well, first of all, i want pics of this gun. Show us what a blue to white fade timmy looks like.

I've got 2 intimidators right now, one being a ripper and the other being one with a stock body. There is really nothing you'll want to do to it. Aside from shortening the trigger pull (which is done with the 3 set screws in the trigger) and lightening it, there's only 1 thing to do.

Take the gun out back, get the thing flying (rip on the trigger as fast as you can). You'll notice a decent amount of kick. What you want to do then is lower the bottom regulator's pressure (Low pressure reg adjusts the cocking pressure). I lowered mine almost as low as possible so as to keep it from kicking. With the delrin bolt, there's almost no kick, just enough kick to bounce the trigger :)

I will take some picks of it for you guys. I got her into paintball and now she has me driving all the from Calif to Chicago to go play in that scenario game with James T. Kirk. Kind of funny. I thought she would not like the sport the first time I brought her out but since then she likes it about as much as I do. oh yeah guess how much we got the gun for.......well......?

That first page is really good, a friend of mine has been looking into getting a new gun, and he doesn't like the RT Pro (Hey, hes mental, what can I say) so I've been pushing him towards the Timmy. That page should be able to answer his questions better than I could :)

I'm still new to the gun, but I haven't done any mods to mine and it works like a dream. The only thing I could possibly want would be a warp. Other than the warp you really don't need to do anything to it. But Bob Long has a trap door body on his that is wicked cool adn I wish he would mass produce.

OMG! I took a peek at those pages and I actually saw an Intimidator that I LIKED how it looked! LOL Kind of like the Evil Twin for the Tequila Sunrise EMag.


I wonder how that would look with a warp? I may have to play some day and find out.

I remember tom posting that one. Then warpig had a picture of bob with it up and running and I fell in love. I've got to find a way to get one for mine. As far as I know Bob's the only one that has one, maybe tom can be conned into doing some more, or getting Bob to.
