I broke my little toe today!

Today my clumsy butt slipped on the stairs of my house and I broke my little toe on my right foot.

I know it is broken (you should have seen the angle on it before I pushed it back in place). I've taped it off to the toe beside it. I try not to walk any more than really needed.

Now for my question. Is there anything else to worry about? I know that the doctor can't do much and don't have time to waste unless I really need too.

I would see a doctor about it, believe it or not the little toe is important. It plays a big part in the body's internal balance system.

      broken toe

I broke my toe couple month ago. The doctor took x-ray and taped it off to the toe beside it. Two weeks later I was playing paintball(not a good idea). And in about 3 more weeks I took tape off.

      The end

It's hard to say. I mean, if you did something bad to the toe you could mess yourself up by not going to the doctor. I've broken 3 bones; collar, wrist, and leg. Personally I would go to the doctor. I won't make any speculations about how a broken toe can turn into a debilitating injury, but I'd much rather be safe than sorry. How much being safe will cost you is a question of medical coverage. Under my HMO I pay $10 a visit. It's your call, but be nice to your body.

Go to the doctor. I broke one of my toes clean through, they had to tape it up and put me in a cast. After 3 months in the cast it didn't heal really, so they retaped it and put me in it another 3 months.

Miscue you are making me a little worried.

I'm in Ontario. This visit to the doctor won't cost me anything but time. Time is the one thing I don't have until after the holidays are over. Let's see how it is later tonight.

thats not cool at all! Well, try to rest it as much as possible and try to find time to see a doctor-i'd probably be the best way to go.
