    ULE body detent...

I remember reading awhile ago that some people experienced bolt stick due to the ball detent being screwed too far in.... the problem was solved by adding an o-ring...

My ULE body detent came with a black o-ring... is this a new feature??... or do i still have to add another o-ring???

    thanks

I think the original ULE bodies had the detent problem. It is possible that the newer ULE bodies correct the problem.

The oring is used to keep the detent from backing out during play. You can check how far it goes into the body. If only the ball is protruding into the breach, then you are fine. If part of the detent screw assembly is sticking into the breach then you need to add a second oring.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
