    Best air for a mag?

I've recently gotten back into the sport after about a 7 year break, and had a quick question. Back in the day I had an automag and loved it, so I decided to build a new one with the x vavle. I've never used nitro or compressed air so I was just wondering what is the best for the x-vavle? And can I just run either through for example one day could I do nitro and the next do compressed air depending on what is easier to get filled? And does that go for the tank too, can I fill the same tank (when it's empty, of course) with either type of air?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Also another question. Do I oil this by just putting a few drops where the air goes in and dry shooting it? I remember it was a must have to have a quick release on the vavle connection, is that needed anymore?

nitrogen and air are the same thing. compressed air is 79% nitrogen... its just a little easier to get a compressor than a bunch of the 88 cubic feet nitrogen tanks...

and for oiling, you can put the oil in anywhere, but putting it in as close to the valve is best because it doesnt have to run thru all the air hosing and such... but anywhere is fine
