    To fommie Or not to Fommie. That is the Question

    Hey should i put a fommie on my stock AGD bolt. its not a long nose. and what are the advantages/disadvantages of a fommie?

    If your AGD bolt isn't the foamie version, then DO NOT put a foamie on it. It's a foamieless bolt, thus it's designed not to have one. If you want a foamie bolt, order the foamie bolt from AGD for $35.

        he just sed they are 35 from agd...call them up tell them ur interested and ask them the advantages and disadvantages to the bolt.....

          Advantages are, they are a little easier on paint, and disadvantages are that the fommie falls out every once in a while, and needs to be replaced. (you cannot use it without the fommie).

                  I would rather use the foamie bolt. A lot of the fields around here are field paint only and don't take the greatest care in the world of their paint. Some of it is a little on the old side. They might tell you it's fresh, but more than likely it's not.

                  So the foamie goes in the E-mag and I don't get on the trigger as hard.
