Yes in fact they did win the "nothing bowl". And mighty handely at that. Also our fellow countrymen from USC (THE USC!) the University of South Carolina also won by the skin of their teeth.

Also I have noticed how well the ACC is doing in Bowls so far this year. Go Terps! Beat Florida!!!

Well now as we know the Gators destroyed the Terps. It wasn't pretty was it? Seemed to be a trend in the BCS games wasn't it? Blow outs I mean.
