Review of Brand X paint...

This stuff surprised me it shot really well!

For 39 bucks at my LPS a case it cant be beat.

Consistency. They were consistently round, I was getting +/- 3fps on my e-mag mated to a 14 inch dye boomstick.

Accuracy, better than any diablo crap ive ever used. That dosent say much cause pretty much ANYTHING is better than diablo.

Compares with PMI/RPS premiums in quality... Its a great find!!!

Hmmm, the brand X you can buy here in Germany is basically Diablo Midnight or Diablo Blaze (depends on the batch) in a different package...

that means it's probably made by Accucaps, which makes proball, Zap, 32 degrees, etc. All that stuff tends to be a lot bouncier than Diablo, thus your luck with it. But alot of people want their paint to break on contact and Diablo is very good for that.

Maybe if my local feild coram stopped selling paintballs shaped like squares and trinagles (I crap you not I found a triangle paintball in a bag of diablo I bought) I would have a MUCH better impression of diablo. Only during the big game is the paint actually good.

Well my friend, I know I'm gonna get attacked on this message board for this statement, but. If you stopped using a gun that ran at 6-800 psi you might not have as much trouble with paint breaking. I play at Coram regularly and rarely have much trouble with paint. I've shot pretty much nothing but Diablo for the past 3 years with very little trouble, amybe 4 bad days out of 100+ days of play, that's not bad in my estimation.

The paint with the Arm On in...thats called Power Ball. Blue/Silver shell to be correct.

But alot of copanies have Brand-X paint its all the same..just some have different box colors...brown...black...gray...and white is what i have seen. There basically like seconds.... (i.e. superswirl = marb 2nds) Except there seconds from great quality paint and are good for there price too. Still i rather take 40 bux a case for RPS Premiums over brand-x

Dont need to attack you...

Mags run at 400 psi, same as angels. Input to the internal reg is often above 600 psi to provide adequate head pressure for the AIR/RT integrated reg. Sorry you are wrong there...

I never said I had problems breaking paint... When the diablo is round, not square I have no problems. Sorry, NO gun can shoot oblong paint even my friends impulse breaks as much as me.

The best paint IMHO is RPS all star/marbs/el tigre. All of which ive shot with NO PROBLEMS. Batches are consistent, I have had NO bad days with this paint. Dont even get me started on diablo midnight... Where do you put the grease fittings on those? Are paintballs supposed to ooze?

Diablo either needs to work on quality control or storage techniques cause If I were a manufacturer i would not let such crappy paintballs sit on the shelf to be sold.

Well, we can compare championships and tourney wins if you want to to see who's got the better paint for the last couple years, but that would be silly wouldn't it?

That's not important to you though, and that's cool. I understand. This time of year is rough on paint outdoors, and it generally takes manufacturers a batch or two to get the winter formula right, so you may be experiencing that a bit, and I know there was a batch at PBLI that was friggin awful, I "shot" some of it and had no luck whatsoever, but it seems to be pretty good right now.

Diablo's funny, the paint rarely looks very round, but it usually shoot very good for me.

Just to let you know NOTHING I say is to be taken personally on this forum. This is not an attack on you it is merely an expression of my opinions.

If you like diablo godspeed im happy for you. Keep using what you like cause the best thing is often what you like the best! :)

Perhaps I came on a bit strong. I shouldent have generalized ripping on ALL diablo paint. I must admit I have had some AWESOME batches but I would like it to be more consistent.

The best paint bar none IMHO :) is RPS slam that stuff is just sick! I don't even think Ive ever had a bad batch of that stuff. Pick a bag up they are perfectly spherical and seamless.

Touney wins don't mean squat. You also have to look at the major sponsorships that diablo gives out. It is definately a lot more than what RPS gives out. If 90 percent of the teams are sponsored by diablo of course they are gonna come out on top. Its just plain probablility.
