I just wanted to thank you. I changed mine over from a single fan (running at 18 volts, very noisy) to your idea of twin fans at 9 volts. VERY quite. So much so that left it on most of the day because I kept forgetting to turn it off (couldn't hear it most of the time!).
I am considering adding a second 9 volt battery and a potentiometer to up the fan speed a little. Just as long as it stays quite. We'll see.
