First off, to me, moving the hopper off the top of the gun is worth $100 easy. I paid $130 for my Warp Feed around 6 months ago. The other features bring up the value.

It was probably the most important thing I bought for my gun EVER. It changes your whole playing style. How many other upgrades can say that?

      Everyone should have one...

boomstick: $110 = shoots a little better then my stock minimag barrel

halo: $110 = feeds a couple bps faster then a revvy

warp: $175 (msrp... I got mine for $100) changes the game.

I have recently played with out my warp, and its just a different game. It is sooooo easy to stay tight with a warp. You can tilt the marker to the side when coming out of either side of the bunker. So the only thing showing is your barrel and a small portion of your mask. Where as with a hopper on top, if you tilt your marker, they have a whole hopper to shoot at, and if you dont, they have your whole elbow.

I'm not the best at describing why a warp is such a good buy, but it really is. Just buy one used in the classifieds, play with it a couple of times, and if you don't like it sell it! Most likely you won't though, because they are soooooo cool!

(the prices listed on top are just to show that you can spend a lot of money in paintball w/out changing your game a lot, but a little more and you change it completely. I'm not knocking the other products, just giving a price to usefullness comparison)

I will never play without one again. I purchased one for about 125 10 months ago and have never looked back with any regret.

There is no question in my mind on weather it is worth it or not.

            Now go get one!

                  New E-mag

                  12V Revvy.......1000 rds. of Team Colors / 9 chops
Warp Feed.......1000 rds. of Team Colors / 0 chops

The numbers speak for themselves but I think that before
you drop 100+ for the warp, you have to ask yourself if you
are curently outshooting your hopper capacity with the marker you intend to put it on. Yes, it does decrease your profile but it also adds weight to your marker. Not to mention it's kind of ugly!

Oh, by the way.........I'll never shoot without one again!

find one used.. im sure there are plenty of people that dont like it much. i havent played with mine. im not sure i like it yet... seems my elbow is stuck out there. but i am by no means knocking it because its better to have a wider elbow than a blimp and chops.
i dont like signatures. so i turned them off. AO is much better this way.

                        *Raises Hand*

I have a comment. Yes, the warp is a great invention, but it also has it's flaws.

                        Positives:
                        Lowers profile
Allows you to shoot in all positions*
Feeds as fast as you need paint
Brings hopper off the top of marker(refer to first)

                        Negatives:
                        Small increase in weight
Got in my way(A small bit)*
dislike having something off the side of my marker that far.

                        Back to the *'s.

*#1=How does this happen, if the Revy can't feed when paintballs aren't in the neck?

*#2=Only a portion of the time did I feel the Warp got in my way. It was awkward at first, and owners are right....you WILL change your playing still.

Also, my Revvy feeds FINE shooting sideways, no matter what your argument, I still believe that the warp HELPS, but is NOT neccesary.

Attached:Shooting Impy sideways at an indoor game, Friday Night. Revvy fed fine.

The multi postion shooting point is a very useful one. It has a limit though. You can actually hold the entire gun upside down and shoot at least 10-15 shots(depending on how long your warp feed hose length is) This stops however when the warp feed has no more balls in it, obviously the hopper can't feed upside down.
I find there is almost no difference in the weight. The hopper on top of your setup creates a topheavy setup. With the warp feed on the side, I feel as though the gun has a better balance. That's just the way it worked out for me.
I was so impressed in fact, I now own 6 warp feeds and have them on 6 of my mags. (Yes, I like mags a bit too much)
As far as the warp being in the way goes, well, it's a matter of getting used to it. Remember when the powerfeed was invented?(that's a long time ago for those who weren't around then) People said it was in the way of sighting down the barrel. Now we even have vertical feed, and no one is complaining. The warp feed is an excellent addition to paintball. It helps in many ways, and I haven't regretted owning mine at all.

Yes, you put your p/f plug in the other side, and run the warp hose to the bottom of the p/f.
