    NAKED! The Extreme uncovered...

Ok So quite a few people have asked me about where they can mill and how much, so what I have done is created some images which give you a better idea of where the material is and is not. I've taken the outside surfaces and made them translucent (I wish I could do that to people's clothes... but I digress).

It takes a little looking at to understand but I hope it helps. You can see the ghost of translucent outer surfaces and then the solid colour of the inner surfaces. You can see the main valves tube, the area for the breech thread and the sear location and cut out. You can also see some dimensions as to how thick the material is... note it's not very thick in many places! Dimensions are in mm.

Gecko, I felt the images needed to be big for people to see what is going on and to be able to understand it. If I'm wrong then I will make them smaller?

No you are right if it was smaller it would be even harder to tell what is going on. You did a good job on that, I'm sure it will help some people with what can/can't be done and why.

being tall is good, except when you're the last one on your team and stuck behind the smallest bunker on the field.

Sorry for the confusion...I put the in there because I was laughing at the post.

I thought it would be funny to complain about someone posting "naked" pictures of an inanimate object. hahaha

Or...wait a sec...were you joking about my joke? Man, I am lame.

CTG, I am using a CAD/CAM package called Tebis. It's a very high end software which is actually produced by my company headquarters. We do everything from CAD part inspection software, quality inspection, Machining through 2.5D, 3, 3+2, 4 & 5axis constrained and continuous 5 axis machining, 3 axis to continuous 5 axis laser machining, CAD modelling, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and surfacing software... I'm just wondering what I missed out... :)
