low virtual memory?

ok, i play this game, WWII online. it requires a pretty fast compauter. when i play, it is kinda scratchy, not a very smooth frame rate. when i exit the game, there is a messege on my desktop that says my virtual memory is too low. how do i get more? sorry, i'm not huge with computers :)

1. you can go purchase more RAM, RAM is very cheap these days.

2. don't leave so many programs like AIM, ICQ, IE, and stuff open when playing ur game, they eat up system resourses.

3. restarting, restarting solves all :)

he could always increase his virtual memory size too.

Right click on 'My Computer' go to properties

Click the performance tab -> there's a virtual memory button there.

I set my min to 450mb, and my max to 450mb/ Setting it to the same number makes it so it doesn't have to stop and swap files.

and make sure your HD is optimized regularily. This will help with access time.

And, as said, cut down on the amount of applications 'running in the background'
