    I need to know a lil history on the mag... AGD HELP!!!

    I recently purchased a hyperframe. Well as some of u know my safety got messed up while my dad was playing with it before i got home from school. Well i have a new problem. It seems my sear won't fit into the frame. I was told that the sear is an older sear and needs to be replaced. I got my mag used and it is a 94 or 95 mag. I noticed that someone on these forums had an early 90's mag with a hyperfrae. My question is did agd redesign the sear in later models??

    Do i need to buy i new sear?

    Please help me out.

      In recent years the sear has been lightened. An old sear might not fit in a hyper frame but I'm not sure. Find someone that has a newer model and compare them.

          This may seem dumb but it might be your problem. Did you take off the "stem" of the sear lie the directions say?

          Everybody does dumb stuff somtimes
          One time I forgot to put my sear in my gun....

              Old sears do NOT fit the HyperFrame. You need a sear that looks like so.

                      yes i did follow the directions. My sear does not look like that. On the left side it is just an angle. But on that pic it angles then goes striaght. Any1 know of a place where to buy one for cheap. I don't have much money. I doubt i will be able to get one. Or if someone wanted i could give them my sear and cash for there newer one? Maybe someone who doesnt want a hyperframe

                                          i called them and they didn't offer one. they said i had to buy one Where is the cheapest to buy one. ANd can i be assured it will be a newer one?

                                              Order a sear assembly from AGD for $15. It WILL be a new style sear as I showed you in the pic. The one you have is at least 6 years old. Not sure when they stopped using them.
