Eh, ridiculous shipping cost on agd's store

I need a front frame screw for a ule body and it only costs $1 dollar. I go to order it and I'm being charged 15.25 shipping for a screw. Illinois to Oklahoma it shouldn't even cost that much to ship something that is about 10 pounds, yet alone one screw.

Might call them. I agree that shipping is high, but that's a bit much even for them.

You can also use a Tippman short bottomline screw. You may have to do a little filing to get the correct length though. Just about any local paintball store will have them. Although it will probably be cheaper at Lowe's or Home Depot, your local store could probably use all the help they can get right now. Retail is very slow, so that is why I recommended that as an option.

Packaging/shipping can be tough... I used to be wary of sale threads on AO that said "minimum purchase" but I've reasoned it out. If you think of all the orders they get, taking the time to box, label, and package a single $1 screw, you realize that they're making no profit on it after time spent, paypal percentage, and shipping fees.

I'm sure that there's a flat rate shipping charge for all items on AGDs site... Buy 1 or buy 500 and those screws will still have a $16 shipping charge. With the local availability of such an item it almost isn't worth their time or yours to buy/sell a single screw so they make a flat price so they don't lose time and money.

Now, if you've already ordered a frame or a valve or even just a rebuild kit and some small parts, then having the convenient ability to purchase a perfect screw for your purposes for an extra $1 makes sense.

All that said, any local hardware store will have at least 6 different options for what you're looking for. 10-32 thread size is what you're looking for, and you can measure the lenth you need fairly easily... It'll probably take 5 minutes to find and cost $0.10-$0.50 depending on style and quality.
