It all started on December 28th. This is when I placed my order for a barebone computer system from Digirex. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. A case, mobo supporting DDR, new video and a 1.3mhz Athlon for under $300 shipped. I was all pumped up for my new computer to arrive...
About 2 weeks later I havn't recieved a e-mail confirming my order has been shipped. I have been looking around the net and have found a few better deals anyway. So I give em a call and ask the status of my order. They tell me that it will not ship for another 2 weeks!. A little astonished, I ask to cancle. The lady on the other end speaks hardly any english and tells me I Can NOT cancle my order because they have allready ordered parts for it! This did not make me happy! And to top it off, after she tells me this, SHE HANGS UP!
Ahhrrgg, I call them back and get a totally different person. This time I can actually understand what they are saying. I ask to cancle my order. We go through the procedure and my order gets cancled, all good right? Wrong!
About 2 weeks from then, December 28th, I havn't seen a cent. I call them and ask for the status of my order. I give her the # and she replies with this: Your order is completed and hasn't been shipped yet, you should expect it within a week! I was like "woah lady, I cancled this thing 2 weeks ago!" So then I have to go through the process all over again.
I sent them an e-mail, a rather immature e-mail, but it seemed to work pretty well considering I got a call from the "head Hancho" of the place, Here was 1 of 2 e-mails:
Hello, this is Derek McLeod. About 1.5 months ago we purchased a computer system from you. It was an Athlon 1.1, 810LMR Mobo, 64m Gefroce2 MX400 and an ATX case. Simple little barebone system right? Shouldn't take that long.

My Zip Code Is: ######
We cancled the order about 2 weeks ago because of the long wait. Guess what?!? We havn't seen a cent. It would be nice to at least recieve an e-mail or phone call about what is going on. Frankly, I don't think too high of your company because of your poor customer service. Everytime I call, I get some stink-bag on the recieving end who is no help at all. I will be calling you later this afternoon, and I hope to see results! I want my money back NOW, or I want my computer! And if I get the computer back, it better be good to sway my mind from bad-mouthing you all over the net!

Yea, the e-mail was pretty bad, but it worked. They actually got off their duffs and transferred my cash. BUT GUESS WHAT!?! They only trasfered $277 out of $295! They charged me for shipping!!! I was so PO'd I sent them another immature e-mail. Haven't heard from them since, soon I will call them. I feel like reaching through the phone and grabbing that stink-bags neck. Lamers...
