x-mag steel ring in a ULE body?

    x-mag steel ring in a ULE body?

    is there a way if i/someone else milled a ule body out of a block of billet aluminum, that i would theoreticaly be able to allow for extra material so i can instead of using a steel ring and c-clip, use a x-mag type threaded ring that is in the xmag?
    taking on a pretty cool project for a new/modified AGD marker.

    is this possible?

    this will make or break this project i believe.

    once i get a good hold on the concept of this project ill share more details.

      If it can be milled/cut in an X-mag body, it can be milled in any body.
      Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

          yes it can be done, it all depends on how much you want to spend:)
          i made a tempory body for testing an brought the surface up so i didint need a clip,as you are probably aware the reason the steel washer and clip are there is to stop the spring wearing the ally body
