I just got off the phone with Sean @CPX

The museum will be in a 20x30 tent with grid walls and tables. A small area of the back of the booth will be a VIP area for Legends only so that they can get away from the crowd and stage in private. that leaves a 20x20 area for the museum and I guarantee it will be filled to the brim.

Not only that but I spoke with Josh at J4 paintball and they will be bringing a shooting booth that we will be putting next to the museum so that people can shoot a couple choice old school guns.

All of this is being provided to us and I cannot be more happy with the outpouring of support I am getting from the paintball world. This whole endeavor has become a very positive and nerve racking experience for me.

I have to thank alot of people for this and there will be a list when all this is said and done if I live through it:eek:

This... Is... Happening....

Edit**

to make this easier on ALL OF US there is now a registration system in place to make sure the items that you bring for the museum get back to you in the most efficient way possible

Just stickied the thread.... :D We can make this the "official" thread. I'll try to itemize what i'm bringing and post it up. I can start drafting up the name plate stuff when I get some free time. If anyone is interested and bringing something to the museum please post up a picture of a description of what it is and I can make a name plate for you.

Keep working your magic BT!!

We need to tag every item that is on display and keep a ledger of everything.

If it didn't cost a fortune to ship, I'd get my buddy's double barreled, box fed Tippmann A5.

I had a thought, we need a large screen tv and video and show some of the old mag vs cocker tournament footage.

BTAutoMag
02-02-2014, 04:29 PM

A projector would be easier to handle, but if it's too bright outside it would be hard to see.

I have a projector and laptop and/or DVD player that I would be willing to bring. I don't have a screen or a generator to power them, though. If our tent has white walls, a screen shouldn't really be a problem. We can just project on one of the inside walls.
Did I say inside walls?

Zac, will our tent have power? If it will, we won't have a problem.

That Dino hasnt gone anywhere in 100 million years. It can wait a couple more weeks.

I agree :)

Do we need to start an email campaign? They are very effective when it comes to politicians.

Maybe we should bury an old pb gun somewhere and let him dig it up :)

An online petition should get it done. Those always work. You can even spread them on facebook, right?

Nice work BT. I just saw that NIB Predator cocker that was posted on PBN. I love the fact that it will be shown at the "Paintball Museum" sponsored by the AO Army :D

BigEvil
04-11-2014, 07:49 PM
Hey instead of auctioning off that cocker, how about talking them into doing a $20x ticket raffle? I bet they would raise more $$$ and I would have a better chance of taking it home! :)

BigEvil
04-12-2014, 08:18 AM
WOW the bidding on that NIB Predator cocker is up over $3300 now!

Bunny
04-12-2014, 08:31 AM
What is strange is that we still have a month worth of bidding. Since it is going to charity the skies should be the limit. I have heard Marcus Davis will be donating his team captain cocker to charity as well later this year. That is the one I would be interested in..... if I was an autococker collector :D

Dayspring

Do you have a list of criteria for things for the museum? Are you just looking for old markers and unique ones? I have a SMG60 and a couple AT85s I could bring.

I'm packed and ready to go. I have about 23-24 guns to bring. I made some "AO inspired labels" to go along with my guns for people who don't know what they are. I'm also printing out some pictures to go along with the history as well. I based my idea off of Shocktech's traveling musuem...

I can be there around 5ish on Friday to help set-up.
