I believe that with the current ideas being put out by AGD, the day may soon come when mags can once again be a very common sight on the field (as common as Cockers and stuff). These are my ideas which I belive would help make this era possible.
Maybe this won't work, but here it is:
-Keep the superbolt as is (as far as weight is concerned)
-Increase the size of the air chamber by lengthening the gun (thus, you need less pressure in the chamber)
-Decrease the strength of the bolt spring
-Install the "being developed" low pressure power tube tips
-Use the new "supermag" body (approx. as seen in the pic. by RiceRocket)
As far as I know, with these modifications as standard on the new mag will make it chop less by bringing down the speed of the super bolt (lower pressure) and still causing less blowback (softer bolt spring). The use of the super bolt will make the mag even smoother feeling than it currently is, and these mods. should keep it from being a ball chopper. The low pressure power tube tip just seems like somthing people want, and it would be easier on paint I suppose. The new body gives people something to cut, carve, and color for a truly custom looking mag that is no longer "a tube and a trigger". I believe this covers most any complaints that people have about the current "standard" mag.
