Will OIL in my Emag ruin the Solenoid

Someone told me that putting regular amount of oil in my Emag will eventually work its way into the Solenoid and ruin the plunger. Should I be using some kind of grease instead. This didnt sound right. Where wil the extra oil go? I usually send a few drops through the valve, and then a few drops on the bolt itself. Is this OK?

Nope the Noid and the valve are sperate from each other. The solnoid dosent even take any air inputs.

you dont have to oil it, but it cant hurt. try it, see if its noticably quicker. It wont get on the electronics, as the plunger is seperated from the coils by a thing steel wall. :)
