reg backing out of the valve

im just looking for suggestions on how to keep my reg from backing out of the valve ... every time i shoot 200-300 balls the reg backs out of the valve causing a leak ... any suggestions would be appreciated.
    thanks.

well the reg 1/2 of the valve will unscrew a little and the pin that sticks out from it into the body rail keeps it from going any further......

its sounds like you need to replace the oring between the 2 halves and while it is apart check out your reg seat also... and change if needed.....

You should also check to see if you still have that little pin that virus mentioned.

          Not the reg valve pin.
It is located outside the reg houseing. It sticks out, from right around the oil holes, and locks into the rai. When you put your valve in, you should have to aling this pin with the groove, and twist. If you don't have to line up a pin with a grove to get it in, then you need that pin.

Alright, I fogot to ask about this one before. Exactly how far does it back out? It is normal for it to turn a little bit. If you try to unscrew it while it is in, it shouldn't turn more than a few MM's, if you can completley unscrew it then you have a problem. Oh, and don't force it breaking the pin if you try to unscrew it.

yeah it only backs out a wee bit ... just enough to cause a leak.
                  thanks.
