Just finished my first tourney today, what a hoot.
The background, it rained all last night with showers today. (can anyone say mudball) A friend called me up and asked if I wanted to put a 3 man team together for a local GTPL tourney. So with no tourney or practice experience we went and played in the mud. Out of our 6 prelim games we scored 20 points on the first game, 10 on the 4th, and we did a max on the 6th. Needless to say we were maxed on the other three. The day was hilarious from the standpoint of trying to run and slide in the mud,people sliding past bunkers and scrambling on one hand and knees trying to get back. My wife hopes the pic she got of me doing the slide for life with both arms and legs flopping in the air turns out, she said I really looked funny sliding into the bunker like that. " it wasn't intentional,honest" so ends my first tourney experience. Do I want to play again?
