What's the worst upgrade you have bought for your mag?

my worst upgrade would be a toss up between a z-body and the ANS phaseII reg.
The z-body got great distance but the accuracy was a definate trade off.
and the ans reg was less consistant than my stock reg

I guess it would have to be the wooden bolt I made in Shop class using CAD. Lets just say bolts should never be made out of anything organic. I think Tom gots a hold of this one.

My reactor valve did nothing sept run better on co2 or 40 bucks. And the Benchy on my micro is bad to.

the smart parts gas thru on my minimag, I should have gotten a foregrip and run the hose directly from the tank to the valve...

Probably catch some flak for this but the zgrip was the worst upgrade I have gotten so far. Nothing wrong with it mechanically just didn't enjoy the way it felt. I thought that the zbody was great. Most of the problems that people have had with them are related to their paint to bore relationship.

Sock long nose bolt, still chopped like a mother. Ended up replacing it with a lvl 10. Still have one in the original mini mag, but I don't ever use that one anymore.

I have to go with the reactor valve. I was having problems with my mag and could not de bug it. So I called the tech line, told them what kind of set-up I had. They said to take out the reactor, and put the stock back in. Shazam! Worked!
BTW, during this conversation with the tech, I mentioned that I had the power tube spacer kit. This was before AGD was making one. He asked for the sizes of the spacers in the kit, and since I don't throw any directions away I had them. I read them off over the phone and a months later, AGD was making them. I wonder if I played a little roll there?:)

My worst mag upgrade was the little cocktail suit.. damn thing wouldn't fit over the powerfeed properly. The tuxedo was pretty loose too.
