L10 E-Mag Gun fails to fire or fires sporatically.

I am confused about the carriers. I got the lines. More lines equals bigger carrier, right? What about the dots. Can someone lay it out for me.

If after a couple of cases of paint with level 10 your gun stops firing reliably you should do what? Go up a carrier? Try lighter spring? Yes I do oil my gun before each day of play.

    Thanks

Well this should be in tech but...

Classic case of oring break in. Go down a half size carrier. That would be tighter fit. The dots are half sizes. The lines are full sizes. Example one line one dot is the 1.5, One line no dot is the 1.0 carrier.

What spring are you using? If you are using the longest one and a half isze carrier reduction still results in some inconsistent fireing go down to the middle spring.

So to review select the next half size down from where you are and make sure to reuse that same oring in it. And you should be good to go. If still some problems review spring as I said.

Don't forget to adjust your velocity and oil well too.

    Moving to tech now.

I posted here because no one replied in the tech forum.

Are you sure about that? It seems to me that a smaller carrier would restrict the bolt further causing it to stick more often.

I am using the cut spring.

Surely you have something better to do than search through old posts in hopes of proving me a liar. I did a search for posts with my user name and turned up this.

I'm pretty much positive Phil....One of the other is it. It may not be sealing good and air not pushing it forward now. Main reason I am saying this is you clearly say it worked for a few cases of paint. Thats the tip off. Its not looser and so need tighter carrier. The "it was working for two cases of paint" is the classic break in. And the fix is the next half size Tighter BUT use the same exact Oring. I can only go with what you tell me...

Try it and report back what happens and we go from there.

OK. That makes sense. Thanks. I'll give it a try.

CPhilip I followed your advice and went down to the next smaller carrier size and that fixed it. Thanks for the help.
