    power tube question

O.k last night i run up to the paintball store got me some macro line, and a parts kit for my new mag. I took it all apart (liek you guys said not that hard) I wend to AGD and printed out a schematic for my valve and regulator assembly
all good until i get to the power tube
i took the top off (with a quarter). Here is the problem in the schematic it shows a spacer and no spring. In the parts kit i have a spacer. Why are these 2 different?
    thanks

Do you mean you have a spring in the powertube?

If so, then I'd recommend getting a Powertube Spacer Kit.
You don't have to get one, but it'll more than likely save you some heart-ache.

i had an older valve as well with a spring in it. got a old spacer kit and even with the smallest spacer in it it leaked down the barrel. i just left the spring in until i finally got my hands on a small spacer. if you're not having problems with the spring its best to leave it well enough alone.

The older valves had springs instead of spacers. The springs work well but the spacers offer the ability to tune your trigger to have a little more crispness.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Actually, the spacers allow you to compensate for slight component tolerences, allowing you to adjust where the oring in the bottom of the power tube seat on the stem inside the bolt, to remedy bolt stick and barrel leak. the idea is to find the spacer that lets the bolt seal on the oring, but not so far seated on the oring that it causes bolt stick, a nice happy medium. :)
