great forum but....

im new to the forum and i think it has a lot of great info i haven't really seen all the b.s. that goes on in other sites but i have noticed that it seems heavily moderated and a lot of threads get locked for no apparent reason what's up with all that?lastly thank you agd for making a truly remarkable gun I've been blown away by its performance and reliability

the heavy moderating isnt for misbeahaving people but for misplaced posts. almost all the locks u will see r posts that were put in the wrong forum. the mods just lock it and move the thread to the correct forum.

we r a good bunch. few if any flames.

Automags Online is the premier site for information on 'Mags and the paintball community in general. Members include not only the sites owner Tom Kaye (the CEO of AGD and the designer/inventor of the Automag), but some of the heaviest hitters in the industry like Bill Mills of WARPIG and the Guys from AGD Europe. We also boast some of the hottest players in the game like Manny Francia from team Aftershock.

Even before AGD bought the site almost a year ago, we had all agreed to keep the cursing, so prevelent on other sites, down to a minimum if at all. AGD wants this site to be at least, if not better, than PG13. We Mods try to keep the posts clean enough to not shock your Grandma with "Naval dock language".

We also try to help members leave their posts in the correct forum. In doing so, we will move the errant thread, and lock it in the old post to enlighten members of it's new location, which is shown just above the list of responses. So, don't be alarmed by all the locks you see, it's all good

FYI - I have reminded the mods to note why a thead is moved/locked. We lock VERY few threads. Most of the locked threads have been moved to a different forum. We honestly let you guys roam free as long as you act 1/2 way civil ;o)

lol army, if you think back to before AGD bought the place, and after andy left (dunno if you were here when he was, I dont remember) the place went chaotic. crashing, no moderators (dont even say the 1 did his job... no affense), it was all psycho and flames.
