Well I built this mag from scratch and am very very happy with it but I have one problem. I cut the trigger guard for the 2x trigger but now they wont let me play at my local field because I have no trigger guard and no safety. Any ideas?

What happened to the safety?

Take a piece of 1" wide aluminum 1/8" thick stock. Drill to hose in one end so you can sandwich it between your grip and drop forward. Bend it up and put the other end right up to the top of your gas through grip. It's kind of weird sounding but the end result looks like the saber type guard you'd find on a Airstar Nova. It might work for you. Then start to save up for a nice aftermaket frame because it will quite likely look a little goofy.

another way is to get a tippman 2x finger trigger guard. Then cut and bend it to size.
It is the same idea as load but with a pre made part.

Maybe i can win an intelliframe from this contest http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif. Ill take the RT too hehe. Warp feed is a plus.

I took the safety out cause for some reason the gun wouldnt fire when the safety was out.. i think i bent it or something..

I agree with FeelTheRT, just buy a 2x frame. My local field wont let you play unless you have a factory trigger guard, so if your field is like mine, you'll have to buy a new frame.

You can use the tipp gaurd, but just break down and buy a 2x frame, the DYE's are cool, and you already have the trigger shoe, since the DYe's dont come with one.

If you're gonna buy a guard. Wait for the Intelliframe. Until then, go ghetto or whatever that means. Just make something to work to get you on your field. Or, you could check the classifieds for a stock frame for cheap.
