Pictures for Spare Parts page at www.airgun.com

    Hey AGD Employees...
I was wondering if it would be possible for you guys to put pictures of the parts on the parts page of airgun.com, (http://www.airgun.com/Prices/index.html)

The reason I was wondering is that I am afraid to order something if I'm not 100% sure it's the piece or item I need. I know you provide the parts diagram for each gun on the site and in the manual, but it would be nice to have a picture of each part by itself - so you know exactly what you're getting (or not getting).

Just a suggestion, might simply your lives in the long run...

    Thanks,

I think the suggestion is not a bad one. There are many times when I am ordering parts of music equipment that all they give is an exploded drawing and a parts list. Even with 4 years of drafting in school, I still can't make out some drawings and the exact parts that they are associated with. I am sitting there holding a part in my hand, looking at a drawing trying to figure out if I need part #12345 and #12346 to make up the complete part. Or part #12345 the complete assembly.

No no guys, you missed the most important part of my post, please allow me to clarify.

My concern is, I'm not 100% sure what I am getting when I order a Rail Assy AM/MM. Does that come with the Rail Bushing? Or the Twist Lock Assy? etc...

It's not that I'm lazy or anything, I am a college student, so I do possess some knowledge (although my spelling might suggest otherwise)

It's just that I don't often look at my gun cut down the middle, so the drawings aren't always easy to decipher. Didn't mean to start all of this, just a suggestion.

        Thanks,

Yes, I see your point. There at least could be a list of the things that come in the "Assemblies" packages. At this point I know them all but most new comers would not know what all comes in the "Assemblies" parts listed.

This is the parts list and prices, as it says "Rail Assembly AM/MM", this would indicate that the twist lock detent is already installed

Like shartley said, it isn't hard to find info on AO, ya just gotta look around. Push all the buttons, no one cares, that's what they're there for

Ok, since people don't understand, here is a better example.

                Screw - RT Rail 12 $3.00

Now, by looking at a drawing, could you tell me what those are? I assume that since there are 12 of them, they are the screws that block the air passages on the RT rail. I own an understand the RT and this is still just an assumption.

This does not mean the AGD sites (AO and airgun.com) are not useful sites. But take the McMaster-Carr catalog for instance. They sell thousands of products (down to the smallest screws) and most if not all have pictures of the product. Not all are photographs (some are drawings), but at least it is an individual item, not an entire assembly. Again, this is a simple suggestion, that would take little effort to implement. After all, doesn't AGD like to get their users input on their products/service?

Give AGD a call if you need help, they should be able to tell you what you need just by explaining it to them.
